Description
Aptamil ANTI-REFLUX is a complete formula for babies with frequent reflux. This happens if they not only spit up occasionally or small amounts of food after eating, but do so particularly frequently or in gushes. Thanks to the special formula with locust bean gum, a natural thickener, the formula thickens and can no longer flow back into the oesophagus easily.
Aptamil Anti-Reflux Complete Formula can be used to supplement breastmilk or as the sole source of nutrition from birth onwards.
Please note:
- The WHO recommends breastfeeding babies for the first 6 months of life. Please consult a doctor or midwife before switching to infant formula or special infant formula.
- ANTI-REFLUX Complete Formula should only be fed after consultation with and under the supervision of a paediatrician.
- If your doctor recommends switching to Aptamil ANTI-REFLUX, it is suitable for feeding from birth onwards as the sole source of nutrition and from the 7th month onwards as part of a mixed diet with solids.
- Your baby’s reflux symptoms should subside after a few days. If you do not notice any improvement, please see your doctor again.
- Aptamil ANTI-REFLUX Complete Formula should not be thickened with any other thickener for infant formula.
- This special formula is not suitable for babies who have been diagnosed with allergies or are suspected of having allergies.
Dosage: Please refer to the chart below for the correct mixing ratio of powder and water. It is completely normal for your baby to eat more or less on some days or at individual meals. Follow the needs of your child.
Always use the measuring scoop enclosed in the pack to measure out the powder. Scrape off any excess powder on the straight edge in the pack to level the scoop. One level measuring scoop contains 4.6 g of powder.
